Waterstone Companies, LLC is a design-build remodeling contractor headquartered in Alabama. We provide roofing, decks, fencing, sunrooms and pergolas, siding and gutters, patio covers and carports, and interior finish work. Information you give us directly

When you fill out a contact or lead form, request an estimate, subscribe to email updates, or otherwise communicate with us by phone, text, email, or web form, you may provide:

  • Your street address, city, state, and ZIP code
  • A description of the project you are interested in
  • The type of service you need
  • How you heard about us

Information collected automatically when you visit the Site

Like most websites, our servers and hosting provider automatically log basic technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, the pages you viewed, the referring website, and the date and time of your visit. This information is used to operate, secure, and improve the Site.

Information from missed calls

If you call our business phone number and we are unable to answer, our telephone system may automatically capture your caller ID (your mobile phone number) so that we can return your call and, if you are contacting a business phone line, so that we can send you an automated text message acknowledging your call. This is described in more detail in Section 5 below.

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and provide the design consultation, estimate, or service you requested
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments, site visits, and project work

4. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent your personal information.

Service providers. We share information with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate our business, including our customer relationship management (“CRM”) platform (GoHighLevel), our telephony and messaging provider (Twilio), our website hosting provider, our email service provider, our analytics providers, and our payment and accounting tools. These providers may only use your information to perform services on our behalf and are contractually required to protect it.

Legal and safety. We may share information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, respond to lawful requests from public authorities, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Waterstone Companies, our customers, or others.

Business transfers. If Waterstone Companies is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

SMS consent is never shared. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support of our services and communications with you is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

5. SMS / text messaging program

Waterstone Companies operates an SMS text messaging program through Twilio, delivered via our CRM (GoHighLevel), to communicate with customers and prospective customers who have opted in.

How you opt in

You can opt in to receive SMS messages from Waterstone Companies by (a) checking the SMS consent box on our website contact or lead form and submitting the form, (b) sending us a text message first, or (c) placing a phone call to our business line, in which case if you call from a mobile number and we are unable to answer, you may receive one automated missed-call text-back response from us so that we can continue the conversation you initiated.

Types of messages you may receive

If you opt in, we may send you:

  • Appointment confirmations, reminders, and rescheduling notifications
  • Quote, estimate, and project status updates
  • Responses to questions you send us by text
  • Missed-call text-backs from our business line
  • Customer-care and account-related messages
  • Promotional and marketing messages about our services, if you have separately consented to marketing messages

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your activity and the stage of your project. You will generally receive messages only when there is something relevant to communicate.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Waterstone Companies does not charge you for messages; however, your wireless carrier may charge you for sending or receiving text messages depending on your plan.

How to opt out

You can opt out of our SMS program at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you reply STOP, you will receive one confirmation message and will not receive any further SMS messages from our program unless you opt in again. Carriers

Carriers (including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, and their affiliates) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your consent

By opting in, you confirm that you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile phone number you provided and that you authorize charges from your mobile carrier that may result from receiving messages from Waterstone Companies.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

The Site may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the Site, and improve the user experience. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you refuse cookies, some parts of the Site may not function as intended.
