Built by a family, for East Alabama families
Waterstone is a family of Alabama-owned companies based in Odenville. Founder Brian Camp has been a licensed real estate professional since 1998, and has worked in construction management for over 20 years — becoming a licensed Alabama homebuilder in 2016. He founded Waterstone Professional Services (AL #29446) to handle improvements and outdoor living the way he’d want his own home treated, and added Waterstone Homes (AL #25174) for new custom homes and larger additions.
Our family partner Lovejoy Realty covers the real-estate side, which means one phone call can handle the whole journey — buying, building, improving, or selling. Our combined trades experience spans roofing, framing, decks, sunrooms, siding, and gutters. We’re the crew on site, the person on the phone, and the name on the warranty — no blame-shifting, no surprises about who is responsible for what.
What started as a one-crew operation has grown into the East Alabama team you see today — and the thing we’re most proud of isn’t the growth. It’s that homeowners keep calling us back and referring us to their neighbors.

Brian Camp
Brian has a background in mechanical engineering, real estate, and homebuilding with 30+ years of experience including electrical, HVAC, construction, development, and more. Licensed Alabama real estate professional since 1998 and licensed homebuilder since 2016 — he founded the Waterstone family of brands so East Alabama families can build, improve, and transition homes through one trusted team.
Project Manager
James Haskins
James has worked for Waterstone Homes since 2018 after building his own home with the company. A retired pastor, he helps manage job sites and serves owners and subcontractors where needed — keeping projects on track and communication clear from groundbreaking through final walkthrough.
Office Manager
Krista Deason
Krista has worked with Waterstone Homes since 2018, handling contracts, insurance, marketing, and other administrative responsibilities. She is often your first point of contact for scheduling, paperwork, and keeping your project organized behind the scenes.

Our primary service area is Trussville, St. Clair County, and the East Alabama communities around us — including Moody, Leeds, Odenville, Margaret, Ashville, Springville, Pell City, Cropwell, Steele, Cook Springs, Lincoln, Rainbow City, Centre, Leesburg, and Cedar Bluff. We also take select projects in Irondale, Vestavia, Hoover, Chelsea, McCalla, Gadsden, and the Weiss Lake and Logan Martin Lake areas.
