Attention to Detail at Every Step
Three steps, start to finish — Consult, Quote, Build. Here’s exactly what happens at each stage of a Waterstone project.
A clear path from first call to final walkthrough
Our meticulous attention to every detail creates a uniquely professional and stress-free experience for East Alabama homeowners — from the first phone call through the final walkthrough. The build phase gets all the attention, but the decisions that make a project feel easy are the ones we make well before any crew shows up.
Every Waterstone project follows the same three steps. Jump ahead to any of them below, or scroll through to see them in order.

Consult
We start with a conversation and an on-site visit.
Your Waterstone representative will review your home and property with you and talk through your project. We ask the right questions about scope, materials, and timeline — and we listen to what you actually want out of the finished space. A consult is a conversation, not a sales pitch: we bring the technical side (codes, structure, materials), you bring the way you want to use the space.
- On-site visit at a time that works for you
- Measurements, photos, and a walk-through of the space
- Open conversation about goals, budget, and timing
- Straight answers — what’s possible, what isn’t, and why

Quote
We put clear flat-fee pricing in writing.
After the on-site consult we draw up a plan, spec the materials you choose, and price the project as a flat fee. Your written quote is exactly that — written down, itemized where it matters, and yours to review at your own pace. No hourly billing. No mystery line items. No change-order surprises once the build starts. If you want to trim or upgrade something, we’ll show you the delta before anything changes.
- Detailed scope of work — what’s included, spelled out
- Material selections you pick, named by brand and line on the quote
- A flat-fee price — the number you see is the number you pay
- Zero pressure to decide on the spot

Build
Your licensed Waterstone crew gets to work.
Once you’ve signed, we schedule the build, pull any permits required by local code, order materials, and get our crew on site. You’ll have a main point of contact the whole way. The job site stays clean, the project runs on schedule, and we finish with a final walkthrough so you can sign off on the work before we leave. Our written workmanship warranty backs everything we build.
- Permits pulled by us where required
- One licensed crew start to finish — no subcontractor handoffs
- A clean job site at the end of every work day
- Final walkthrough + written workmanship warranty
Four promises behind every project
The things we commit to regardless of the project, the budget, or the season we’re working in.
Response within 48 hours
We’re a small team, so we aim to get back to you within 48 hours — often sooner. During spring and early-summer peak it may take a little longer; we’ll tell you either way.
Flat-fee pricing
We walk through flat-fee pricing with you so you understand the number before anything starts — no hourly meters, no fuzzy allowances, no surprise change orders after the contract is signed.
Schedule you can count on
We give you a realistic start and finish window and we communicate early when weather or materials move it. No ghosting between milestones.
Licensed, insured, warrantied
Waterstone Homes (AL #25174) and Waterstone Professional Services (AL #29446), full liability and workers’ comp, and a written workmanship warranty on every build.
